The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach in Florida announces the inaugural Summer of Seltzer Festival, set to take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This 21+ exclusive event will take place on their Beach Patio by Tripp Tide Beach Bar, the perfect beachside setting for this bubbly event promises an unforgettable celebration of summer’s favorite fizzy beverages.
Ticket holders will receive a wristband to enjoy unlimited seltzer-tasting samples of over 150 beverages from local and nationally renowned brands like Palm Folly Hard Seltzers, 3 Cool Cats, Vizzy, and more. In addition to an impressive lineup of seltzers, attendees will also have access to samples of hard teas, full-flavored malt beverages, ready-to-drink cocktails in a can, frescas, mocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and more. The festival offers a unique opportunity for seltzer enthusiasts to bask in the Florida sun while exploring a variety of flavors and discovering new favorites, provided by Goldring Gulf Distributing.
In addition to the seltzer tasting, guests will enjoy live music performances throughout the day and a variety of engaging activities, including yard games, a photo booth, beach volleyball, and dishes available for purchase at The Island’s newly debuted Taco & Tequila food truck such as pollo asado tacos, birria rice bowls with charro beans, queso blanco, and more.
A portion of proceeds from the Summer of Seltzer Festival will benefit the Special Forces Association Chapter 7, which directly supports the veterans, soldiers, and families of the special forces community. SFA Chapter 7 serves as the voice for this community in the Florida Panhandle through deeds and words and promotes the general welfare of the special forces community and their families.
As a local leader in metal recycling on the Emerald Coast, Big Iron Environmental will provide dedicated bins for recyclable cans and cups at the Summer of Seltzer Festival, ensuring a cleaner, more environmentally friendly experience for all attendees, partners, and the resort. Approximately $0.55 will be donated to the beneficiary, Special Forces Association Chapter ,7, for every pound of aluminum recycled.
For those seeking an immersive Seltzer experience, The Island Resort offers an exclusive Summer of Seltzer Accommodations Package from August 23-25. The package includes a two-night weekend stay, two festival tickets, and breakfast vouchers for two to be used at Coastal Kitchen.

Early bird tickets for the Summer of Seltzer Festival are available now for $25.00 until July 31, 2024, and will increase to $35.00 starting August 1, 2024. Tickets may also be available at the door for $40.00, based on availability.
